Its President is Mary McAleese and the Prime Minister is Bertie Ahern.



ECONOMY
The country is now part of the European Union and the Euro is their present currency.
The economy of the country is developing and the population lives quite well.


TRADITIONS
Most people are very conservative and family life is traditional.
Most of their religious festivities are exactly like the ones we have in Portugal because we are also catholic, and they are not open to other religious traditions.
Its traditional drink is Whisky and Guinness.
Its favourite food is colcannon, Irish stew and Dublin coddle.
